Resolved Question: Can someone help me with my story?
So i just wrote a part of a story. I couldn't think of what to write for the beginning so i chose to skip to the middle. It is a romance story of a forbidden love, a sort of romeo and juliet meets twilight (: and it's for 12 - older age. here is what i wrote so far please help with the beginning and possibly the end (: thanks “Evelyn, you don’t see what you’re doing to me. You’re driving me insane. You say you want me then you tell him otherwise…I can’t compete with him.” A single tear rolled from my cheek “you don’t have to compete with him, all I’ve ever wanted was you. I’ve never wanted Nick he’s a great person but he isn’t like you. The way you look and me and I can tell your really trying to understand me when he looks at me I can see he only wants one thing.” Gerard walked towards me. Wrapping his arms around me he sighed “just know this…I want nothing more from you than your love.” I smiled and raised my head. I kissed his cheek that was cold and wet from tears. “Don’t worry” I sighed placing my head back onto his chest “You’ve always had my love.” I came home to find Nick pacing back and forth on my front. His face seemed hurt…destroyed but it was too dark to tell. I opened the gate slowly. “EVELYN, where the hell have you been?” He held me close to his body. The smell of alcohol wrapped around my nose choking me. “Out, I needed to clear my head” Nick gently kissed my lips. How could a kiss so sweet taste so repulsive? “Nick I need to talk to you, can we go inside” “sure” Nick stumbled into the door and threw himself onto the chair. “Nick…I...” I was scared. He had been drinking. What was he capable of whilst intoxicated? “I think we need to end this.” Nick pulled a small bottle of Vodka from his dirty jacket and began to swig from it. He wiped his mouth with his sleeve leaving a mark of dirt across his mouth. “End what?” He questioned anger building in his eyes. I hesitated. “End this…me and you,” Nick pushed the chair he was sitting on to the floor causing me to cower in fear “I KNEW IT.” He screamed. Anger burning in his pale face “I KNEW YOU WERE WITH THAT GERARD! YOU DIRTY TWO TIMING…” Nick came closer to me and with one almighty swing knocked me to the cold unforgiving floor. “Please Nick!” I screamed. Tears racing down my face. “I’m going to’ kill him” Nick smirked but still enraged “I’m going to’ murder him!” He knelt down to where I was lying and touched my face. I shuddered in disgust “You look a mess eve, clean yourself up” arising to his feet Nick turned and smirked and left slamming the door after him. I rubbed my face with my hands full of blood. My head was forcing blood out of everywhere. “Evelyn?” Gerard crouched down and touched my face “who…what…” I couldn’t speak it took all I had to force one sentence out “He’s going to kill you,” Gerard looked disgusted “Nick? Nick did this to you…because of me.” I wearily nodded. Gerard pulled me up and placed me on a chair. The same one Nick had thrown on the floor. He poured me a glass of juice. Slowly I regained my speech. “I told him it was over…he had been drinking…I told him I didn’t want him anymore…he stood up and beat me to the floor. He knew about us. Then he said he was…he said he was…” Gerard finished for me “He said he was going to kill me?” I nodded and broke down into tears. Gerard kissed me slowly and held me close “trust me, he wont hurt me” I shook my head “He will, trust me he will he’s drunk, god knows where he is now. Out recruiting people to get you,” Gerard laughed moreResolved Question: Question on Army Special Forces?
"...At the same time, the U.S. Special Operations Command needs more people with special language and cultural skills for a war on terrorism that has taken the armed forces to more remote places across the globe" http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081206/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/military_recruiting Does this mean one can try out for Special Forces with only a visa or green card? I've always known that you have to be a US citizen in order to qualify. However, I've asked an Army recruiter and he told me that at this moment, they're taking permanent residents as well. Is this true? moreResolved Question: I got talked into joining the army, but now i feel that i may not qualify medically?
I have a problem that i feel i may not have a way to fix. I enlisted into the army a few weeks ago and now regret doing so. I went to MEPS once, signed where everyone wanted me to, and swore in once. I then got with my recruiter and set up a new bank acct. with the armed forces bank. Previously to me going to MEPS I came to a recruiting office as a favor to a friend who was in the army and he had just got out of basic and came home for two weeks and he asked me to go up to the recruiting office and pretend to be interested because he was supposed to recruit somebody during his two weeks at home and if i at least pretended to be interested he thought it would get the other recruiters off of his back for not recruiting anyone. I really wasn't all that interested, but as we all know the recruiters get paid to make it sound like its too good of an opportunity to pass up. But, in 2004, I was involved in a bad car wreck and had suffered a traumatic brain injury and was in a coma for 28 days, I'm really lucky to be alive and able to function as a normal person does and i told the recruiter this once he had "attached" himself to me and i got tons of phone calls everyday asking me when i was gonna join and he even came to my house once, and he said that i would be fine and had absolutely nothing to worry about. Finally, i ended up at MEPS and i did as my recruiter told which was to lie to them at MEPS and say that i was medically ok and never had been to a hospital as a patient and i signed. Why? Because im easily convinced and i believed that everything would be okay as far as medical worries because my recruiter insisted that I would be fine. Now, I have been getting weird headaches in the past 8 or 9 days where i can hardly even stand up without falling over atleast once a day, and im really worried that i have no way out of this without facing fines and/or jailtime. So, my question is... what options do i have to get myself out of this terrible situation? moreResolved Question: History Eassy On World War II?
Okay. I need someone's help..like REAL bad. My essay is HORRIBLY structured. and I need a lot of help. please.. 20 Years after “The War to End All Wars” has ended, (Which was hardly the case), World War II Emerged. From 1939 – 1945, Canada had contributed to the successful outcome of the war, from Canada’s Home Front, to the major battles of Italian Champaign, Dieppe and Day of Deliverance. Canada has sacrificed thousands, and helped millions, to take on Germany and Adolf Hitler, thus ending the tragic World War II. Canada had truly participated fully in the winning outcome of World War II. Not only the government policies of Canada had taken a share of the won, but to the home front as well, the women who took on men’s roles had changed lifestyles, children even taking on responsibilities. We have shown great intelligent by Canada providing us at Training camps for all nations for example, Britain and America in Oshawa Ontario, including Camp X and The British PM Muelle Chamberlain. With the soldiers we have lost in the Battles of Italian Champaign, and D-Day, no nation should ever say that we did not do as much effort as any other nation in World War II. Throughout World War II, women and children has made a Major effort to help with the war going on (The Home Font). Naturally, women had played an important role in the war. In fact Government Policies also had them start on everything. Not only did women support the injured soldiers of ours, and other nations. Women had become nurses, serving behind the front lines, and they had PUSHED, there way to be accepted in the military service. By the end of the war, Canadian women in uniform numbered 50 000, and another 4 500 women were in medical services. They were never sent in front line combat, in fact they did essential work, working as radio operators and guiding back airplanes and ships form battle missions. Some had even become welders, armourers, or worker in armed forces headquarters. Women took over farms, and helped keep farm alive, in business, at the same time making crops and food to contribute the food to the war for armies. Women had taken on men roles, and proving themselves. Without “Women’s Roles” there would not be surviving soldiers from serious injuries. Government policies has asked for women, children, and other elderly that could not go fight in the war to save food, and save anything to save for the war. The community has taken on different numbers of jobs to specify support the war, Canada had become an industrial power. During World War II, the government introduced Victory Bonds, the money going straight to the war economy, these victory bonds were Highly encouraged. Training in secretly is what “Camp X” was for, and learning how to fly and become a pilot, you have to go to the British PM Muelle Chamberlain. Camp X was established Saturday December 6, 1941, training people from different nations in North America. It was built on the shores of Lake Superior to train allied agents in the technique of secret war fair. Camp X was run by British officers, and a Canadian director thus also training women, and men. If fact we had also trained the French Resistance workers in spying, weaponry, and sabotage. Yugoslavia were sent into their homeland, where they destroyed trains, roads, and major things. Camp X was successful, and sad to have saved a large number of lives. Other American, Britain, and Canadians who have not gone to ether Camp X or the war was sent to “British PM Muelle Chamberlain”. British PM Muelle Chamberlain had trained 135, 000 pilots from 40 different allied nations to learn to fly. We had supplied not only our military, but other nations also in the Training Camp. Us supplying 80.64% of the recruits. Australia 11.28% and New Zealand 8.08%. Canada has a perfect environment, and space for this training camp. Without the 2 Training Camps, most soldiers would have been dead. Camp X had save many soldiers from facing a horrific death. The Italian Campaign was Canada’s first major ground participation in the Second World War in Europe and cost 25,264 casualties, 5,900 of them fatal, over its course which, at its highest peak, saw over 76,000 Canadians serving in Italy. Not only was this one of the major battles, Canada had played a role in Day of Deliverance. (D-Day). A year before the D-Day landings in Normandy, there were the Allied invasions Italy. Canada played a major role in the Allies' first breach of Hitler's "Fortress Europe" in 1943 and 1944. Canadian soldiers defeated Hitler’s German Army but had a price to pay. The Italian Campaign, a shocking battle that cost roughly about 6,000 Canadian lives. July 10, 1943 though a bad stormy weather, the biggest invasion in history, had arrive the boot of Italy. As we see in this Canadian Army Newsreel, the Allies reach the shores of Sicily at dawn, and Canadians walk ashore unopposed. Allies had pushed there way into Hitler’s Fortresses. So fourth, a(I don't even have a concluding paragraph :( ...BECAUSE I DON"T KNOW HOW OT WRITE ONE! moreResolved Question: Should Marijuana be legalized? Why?
My personal vote is: Yes absolutely. First of all, the criminalization of Marijuana use has hampered the lives of millions of Americans. Drug charges can deter people from getting jobs (great in a failing economy), and from joining the armed forces (even though they need recruits). Many Americans who have an education, pay taxes, hold a job, and support a family are labeled as criminals for using a substance that studies show is about as harmful as the most common legal indulgences i.e; cigarette smoking, drinking, gambling. Secondly, facts show that millions of Americans use marijuana regardless of legal consequences. These users are forced to purchase pot from dealers who might be in connection with gangs or the mafia. Thus, they are indirectly supporting criminal elements. A disturbing news story announced that more deaths take place in Mexico over the drug wars than in Iraq. This makes sense; Mexican drug lords hold a monopoly over the drug market, and will do whatever necessary to keep their American customers buying from them. This problem could easily be remedied by legalization. Local, American growers could satisfy the needs of domestic users, reducing the dependence on criminal supply completely. Furthermore, the establishment of legal, legitimate suppliers would greatly increase the safety and security of drug trade. Dealerships could be required to meet health standards and to enforce age restrictions. New jobs would be produced in the growing and selling of pot, bringing millions of dollars into the American market. Third, legalization would reduce American dependence on prescription drugs, and therefore reduce prescription drug abuse. It is widely known that most common prescription drugs are very harmful to your body and carry many side effects that only increase the intake of more p-drugs. Marijuana has been proven to be an effective remedy for nausea, pain, glaucoma, epilepsy and more, so legalization is in the best interesting of those suffering from such ailments. Increased hunger resulting from smoking would aid those suffering from anorexia, and the resulting drowsiness would be a welcome effect to those suffering from insomnia. As to the ‘Gateway Drug Theory’, which states that marijuana use leads to dangerous drug use, this writer is not convinced. Perhaps it is not Marijuana that leads some to experiment with hard drugs, but its status as a criminalized substance. Common sense would favor the assumption that being labeled as a Criminal would not positively influence one’s self-esteem and moral judgment. Perhaps it is the mentality of “Well, I’m a criminal, so there’s nothing else to lose…” that persuades those to delve into dangerous substance abuse. I say, it is the illegality and societal taboos surrounding marijuana that forces people into a life of fear and reclusion from society. Unfortunately, the taboo around pot says that one cannot be both a pot-smoker, and a legitimate citizen, which creates a very unhealthy self-image for those to choose to smoke. Finally, legalization would relax longstanding tensions in American society. Parents would no longer have to treat their pot-smoking sons and daughters like criminals. Friendships and relationships would no longer be destroyed because of the hardships of dealing with someone who society has deemed a law-breaker. The marijuana user would no longer be intimidated when trying to get a job, or serve their country. Legalization would reduce the culture of fear in America by giving citizens one less thing to be afraid of, ashamed of, and dishonest about. To those who might take up the argument of “Well, smokers are criminals, and deserve to be arrested.” I ask to remember that illegality is not a universal, indefinite status. Racism, condoned 50 years ago, is now completely illegal. Alcohol was banned until only 70 years ago in the United States, and now is accepted legally and culturally. I respect your opinions nonetheless. moreResolved Question: Are you ready to be forcefully recruited into the armed forces by starvation?
Dan in miami is living in la la land as usual. lol we'll see Dan, we'll see.Michael lobotomy, that is because the majority of Americans still believe in their system. Senate probe blames top Bush officials for abuses By ROY GUTMAN AND JONATHAN S. LANDAY McClatchy Newspapers WASHINGTON -- Top officials - including former Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld and Air Force Gen. Richard Myers, the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff - were responsible for the use of "abusive" interrogation techniques on detainees at Guantanamo Bay, in Afghanistan and at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, a bipartisan Senate report concluded Thursday. The long-awaited Senate Armed Services Committee report bluntly refuted the Bush administration's repeated claims that the abuses, which helped fuel the Iraq insurgency and damaged America's reputation around the world, were the work of a few low-level "bad apples." "Senior officials in the United States government solicited information on how to use aggressive techniques, redefined the law to create the appearance of their legality, and authorized their use against detainees," said the report's 19-page unclassified executive summary. "Those efforts damaged our ability to collect accurate intelligence that could save lives, strengthened the hand of our enemies, and compromised our moral authority." "Attempts by senior officials to pass the buck to low-ranking soldiers while avoiding any responsibility for abuses are unconscionable," said Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., the panel's chairman, who released the executive summary with Sen. John McCain of Arizona, the committee's top Republican. The report "details the inexcusable link between abusive interrogation techniques used by our enemies in violation of the Geneva Convention and interrogation policy for detainees in U.S. custody. These policies are wrong and must never be repeated," said McCain, a former prisoner of war in North Vietnam. The 250-page classified report, which is undergoing a Pentagon declassification review, was the most comprehensive to date of a series of official investigations into the abuses of suspected terrorists who were detained after President George W. Bush launched his "global war on terror" after the Sept. 11 attacks. The Senate report traces the abuses to a Feb. 7, 2002, Bush memo that declared that international law on the treatment of war prisoners found in the 1949 Geneva Convention didn't apply to al-Qaida or to the Taliban. The report outlines how senior U.S. officials, including Rumsfeld, Myers and then-National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice shaped the policy decisions that led to the use of interrogation techniques that the administration insists were legal but that numerous legal authorities and some former military officers have denounced as torture and war crimes. Detainee abuses led to attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq, according to testimony to the committee by a former Navy general counsel, Alberto Mora. "There are serving U.S. flag-rank officers who maintain that the first and second identifiable causes of U.S. combat deaths in Iraq - as judged by their effectiveness in recruiting insurgent fighters into combat - are, respectively, the symbols of Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo," he said. It's not clear, however, if the report will lead to legal proceedings against any of the officials or military officers named or whether the incoming Obama administration will pursue allegations of possible crimes committed during President Bush's war on terror. "We welcome this report," said Brooke Anderson, the Obama transition team's national security spokeswoman. "We will review these findings carefully. President-elect Obama has said that Americans do not engage in torture and that we must send a message to the world that America is a nation of laws and that we stand against torture." moreResolved Question: Pentagon to recruit aliens?
WASHINGTON – Struggling to find enough doctors, nurses and linguists for the war effort, the Pentagon will temporarily recruit foreigners who have been living in the United States on student and work visas, or with refugee or political asylum status. Defense Secretary Robert Gates has authorized the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps to recruit certain legal residents whose critical medical and language skills are "vital to the national interest," officials said, using for the first time a law passed three years ago. Though the military previously has taken recruits with green cards seeking permanent residency, Gates' action enables the services to start a one-year pilot program to find up to 1,000 foreigners who have lived in the states legally for at least two years on certain types of temporary visas. The new recruits into the armed forces would get accelerated treatment in the process toward becoming U.S. citizens in return for serving in the wartime military in the United States or abroad. "The services are doing a tremendous job of recruiting quality personnel to meet our various missions," sometimes with bonus pay and tuition for medical school, said Bill Carr, deputy undersecretary of defense for military personnel policy. But they haven't been able to fill their need for 24,000 doctors, dentists and nurses in the Defense Department. The Pentagon's doctor and nurse corps remain 1,000 short of the numbers needed to treat patients, and Carr said he hoped the program would fill the gaps. The military's most pressing need is for neurosurgeons and dermatologists to treat troops coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan with brain and burn injuries caused by insurgents' wide use of roadside bombs and suicide bombs. The force also lacks nurses with a broad range of specialties, Carr said. It also needs people with special language and cultural skills for a war on terrorism that has taken the armed forces across the globe. Though the military has been looking for more Arabic speakers and others to help with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the new program looks to recruit speakers of some three dozen languages, including Albanian, Korean, Punjabi, Somali and Turkish. The effort to find the recruits begins early next year. If there is a need for more recruits in the future, it would take a new authorization, Carr said. Of the 1,000 new people, at least a third must be medical professionals, Carr said. "It is exceptional, limited, vital," he said of the effort. The linguists are to be used in a broad range of military jobs — as infantrymen, seamen and military police. Those with the best language skills would be used in intelligence fields. The armed forces have used foreigners since the War of 1812 — over the years some 700,000 have served. But because of the counterterrorism war begun after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on America, President George W. Bush signed an executive order in 2002 making foreigners who join the military eligible to apply immediately for citizenship. They essentially go to the head of the line among citizenship applicants, having their cases processed in about three years as opposed to the five years it takes others, Carr said. There are now 29,000 non-citizens in uniform today, Carr said, with about 8,000 more enlisting every year. He expects that among those who will be interested in the new effort are doctors with work visas who are working at hospitals around the country, a program aimed at tackling shortages among U.S. medical professionals. The military has never recruited non-green card holders, but a law passed three years ago lets them do so when it is determined to be vital to the national interest. On Nov. 25, Gates declared that to be the case for the purpose of getting more doctors, nurses and linguists. Carr stressed that recruits will have to pass the same physical, mental and aptitude tests required of all who join the armed forces. Health care workers also will have to meet all medical professional criteria to practice, be proficient in English, and agree to enlist either for three years on active duty or six years as reservists. The linguists/culture experts will have to enlist for four years of active duty service. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081205/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/military_recruiting When will the program be effective? Is it already started? “Accelerate Your Life” By Nick Walker [italics] “Dear guardians of Petty Officer 2nd Class (PO2) Revine, It brings me great sorrow to announce this news to you, as your beloved son, John Revine has died due to small arms fire in Normandy Germany today. Please bear with me, as I take this moment to tell you of some of the things he has done… Petty Officer Revine was one of my best non-commissioned officers. He was very bright, very good with tactics. Any assignment I put him to, he did it. One assignment I put him to was Squad leader of 6th Beach Battalion. Unfortunately, this is the assignment that he died on. He was the Squad leader for about 3 months before his terrible and untimely death. He did many things. Destroyed the bunkers on D-Day, was his best one. In fact, I put him in for a promotion to Chief Petty Officer after D-Day. The day of D-Day, no one will ever forget. Your son, has done a great deal of loyalty, and duty to his country. He's received the Purple Heart, Navy Cross, and Silver Cross for his duties. I thank you for your support in this awful war. Sincerely, David D. Herbert, United States Navy, Rear Admiral Lower Half." 1. Just a Small-Town Boy I just got out of the Naval Academy about two months ago. I graduated top of my class, therefore I skipped the rank of Seaman Recruit. I am proud to say I am finally a sailor. Another couple months of how I'm going, I'll be a Seaman in no time. With the Boatswains Mate rating! I get a 5 day leave to home next week. But then, after my leave, I go over to Britain, and eventually on to Germany. In Hitlers Nest. My Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Junior Grade Dick Branch, told us that we'll be sailing over to Hitlers Nest on D-Day. Which scared me quite a bit. It was either this, or Omaha Beach. I personally wanted Omaha Beach. But that isn't up to me. It's up to our Company CO Commander John Voss. I lived in Dayton Ohio. That's where my parents live, and that's where I plan on going for my leave. My father, Dave Revine, was in the United States Navy, also. He's the one that inspired me to join in the first place. The only thing that was different, he was an Officer. He was commissioned after OCS. I don't wish to pursue that. He was a Lieutenant Commander (O4) when he retired. My mother, on the other hand, was completely against me joining any of the armed forces. During the leave, I went to Dayton, just like I said I would. I saw my mother, father, 2 brothers, and one sister. Boy, was it good to see them! I've missed them a lot. And I know I'm a changed man. I know this, because when I was just a small-town boy, I did nothing to impress anyone. I had average grades, didn't do many sports. I did, however have a lot of friends, whom in which I'd play pick up football with. I was more respectful to everybody. I didn't take many things for granted. I just lived my life... Happier! I was much, much, MUCH happier than I was before. I've found my goal in life. We sat around, talked about life. How everything was going.. You know.. Just 'shootin' the shit.' Then, I told them my company was planning on deploy. There was a deadly silence. The silence was so intense, you could hear each others heart beating. Faster.. and faster.. and faster. The pause lasted about 10 minutes. Until my father asked "When?" I replied slowly and hesitant, "D-Day." Another long, never-ending silence came about us. I then tried to bring some happiness to the moment. I said, "I have a feeling this war won't last too long. The Holocaust has pissed off too many countries, and don't want to have those kinds of things happening in the world." Still, there was a long pause. I wasn't sure on how I was going to break this silence. It was understandable why they were upset and worried. So, I told them, "I'll be coming back.. don't worry so much. I'm a smart man, and graduated best in my training class!" "I know," they all replied simultaneously. I made this myself. I'm 16 years old, in 10th grade. This is what I'm showing right now, I've gotten up to chapter 3. But I'm looking for some feedback! Please help!! :D Thank you!Thank you for the suggestions. I did, however research some of the "D-Day" knowledge, and they did call it D-Day before it actually happened. But, I will most defiantly take your kind feedbacks into consideration! moreResolved Question: where in chicago illinois can i go to sign up to the mexican armed forces?

How can going to basic here be easier as opposed to going there? Wouldnt this mean not all soldiers are trained the same? And if so how can the Army claim to be on the same level as the Navy, AF or USMC. Those branches all train the exact same way for all recruits. I hear that Indian armed forces are hesitant to intake muslims into its strength. Is it true? Other wise why we dont find muslims in top positions of armed forces in India? moreResolved Question: Ok, is this my loop hole?
I was searching around about my previous question (while writing to senators and even ol' W) about getting in the Air Force with prior military service when I stumbled upon this. The Air Force defines "prior service" as persons who have served at least 24 months of Active Duty service without regard to regular component or continuous service in the Armed Forces. Individuals with less than 24 months of Active Duty are considered "previous service." Previous service personnel are classified and processed the same as non-prior service, with the exception that they must have a qualifying RE Code (or receive a waiver) on their DD Form 214. However, even though "previous service" applicants are classified and tracked as non-prior service, it's still a separate enlistment program under the Air Force recruiting regulation, and the Air Force can choose to accept or reject "previous service" applicants, depending on their current recruiting needs. China also have an excess of men, i think some 30 million plus the rest of the billion people population to recruit from. Can the U.S, NATO,Russia,Japan take on China in a conventional land war? Apparently, the air force only accepts 1% of their recruits join if they only posses a GED. Ok I'm definitely committed to enlisting in either the Navy or Air Force. However I have a definite phobia pertaining to the use of needles to draw blood. Even saying or typing the words "drawing blood" makes my palms sweaty. I feel like I can withstand getting shots (even though there will be several at the 2nd MEPS), but the thought of needles going into my veins just wigs me out. It's all related to my 2 week stint in the hospital when I was 4 years old and the amount of times they took blood while I was there. By the end my arms were bruised so every puncture hurt even worse. Anyways, I don't want this phobia to keep me from what I feel I would be good at, military life. I know the typical suggestions of "turn your head, think of other things, etc." but I had one other specific question. Does the military allow the use of a numbing cream if I am not able to overcome my phobia before I arrive for MEPS? It seems like the weakest way out and definitely not the route I want to take, but if it allows me to serve in our armed forces I would go through the unending ridicule certain to come my way from my fellow recruits to make it. Anyways just shoot me some ideas and thanks a lot for reading this entirely too-long question. moreResolved Question: Does the Canadian Military Do Drug Tests?

I'm curious, If I were to lead a militant socialist movement, would any of you consider joining? Here me out before you begin to criticize me. IF I were to do this, here would be the basics to my plan. First, we need funding, Everyone attempt to get a loan or after getting a few weapons we can do planed bank robberies we can blow up a few transformers across town the cops and fire department would be there in full force is the explosions are violent enough, ok back to the point. we need firearms, we can either hit the streets and get small arms or pool together our resources and acquire Ar15s,Aks, what ever we can afford, most of these guns can be purchases or ordered to your local gun store. how ever most of these guns will only be able to function semi auto or burst, but that can be modified, after we have a decent amount of firearms begins the second phase, Training in street guerrilla warfare, That part is no problem, Third phase this one would have to be carried out perfectly, by this time hopefully we will have at least 30-60+ recruits, We carry out organized hits on all prisons federal or local depending on what state we are currently operating in. This is to create chaos for the media to feed on, the criminals will also aid us by distracting most of the law enforcement agencies, by this time after the first two or even the very first one! the FBI and CIA and NSA home land security ATF you name it will either be suspicious or already preparing to anticipate our next move. BUT they have alot to handle on right now including us. Fourth stage, after creating this chaos in at least 15 states, we need to enlist more aid by this time most of our resources will be running thin, We will seek aid from foreign countrys seeking to get a piece of America seeing how it is weakened, They can either risk an all out nuke war, or take a once in a life time opportunity to strike this pig infested country without getting their hands dirty, This isnt 100% sure so dont get your hopes up we might have to do this on our own, and enlisting aid from another country could prove to be our downfall, They can sell us out, or after we succeed destroy the newly rebuilt America. Before I continue, Id like to say I am a true believer of Socialism, I have had my share of leadership roles since I was child, I know not to let the power get to my head, we together can create a nation truly ruled BY THE PEOPLE the government IS THE PEOPLE, their is no prime minister president or single figure head or 12 old men and women but a nation ruled by THE PEOPLE. all shall have a voice. it may seem difficult to do but nothing is impossible man has gone to the heavens and back we have created AI, man has played god. Fifth stage, after at least cause 25, Half the united states of America to be in a state of emergency we shall Finally liberate our first State, Territory, Capital. We need a state with a good sized port, in order to flee if possible. By this time we would have taken small forts and have a decent arsenal and funding if all goes as planned, now begins negotiations, We offer a cease fire, knowing the "government" they will be very stubborn and turn down our cease fire. now the media will be in flames, Americans Killing Americans They will scream! what madness?! and the goverment will already be loosing its grip seeing how they have just shown how incompetent they are. losing half of the states, their troop morale will be low, these are men shooting at their friends brothers cousins mothers fathers, how can they fight anymore? how can they involve their familys in this? they wont. This is war on American soil, They will not be able to handle it their familys are at stake. Victory. I do not intend to cause any unnecessary deaths in the civilian populace. but the hundreds or thousands that die during the Chaotic third phase, will be remembered and honored and mourned for, I will live with it. I've estimated that if we were to do this it would take 15-20 years to accomplish. odds of success are against us, but if we are well organized nothing is impossible. Our organization will be known as The Free People(TFP) a name for our nation will be decided afterwords. I've also considered the possibility of failure to liberate ourselves a State or states, during the fifth stage, If we had acquired foreign help and our fight seems to be failing our "allys" will abandon us. We would then have to move all our forces and Civilians south to south america or mexico, if the mexican goverment chooses not to let our forces pass to south america then we have no choice but to take over mexico by force then leave it and head to south america, the U.S armed forces will be busy by the chaos we create in mexico and stalled if they are chasing us. once in South america we have the Amazon as a shield to protect us while we rest and prepare...for a second strike. moreResolved Question: which armed force attracts older recruits.. raf regiment or the royal marines commando's?

Please read the following article and state how you feel about the things happing in this world today. Do you feel like our nation is falling into the hands of the terrorist? The following article came from a gentleman in his 80's (and a DEMOCRAT!) who actually lived thru those (and these) times. Whether you agree or disagree, this is a powerful statement!!! And I donʼt think you will have to look it up on ʽfact or fictionʼ either! Everyone has a different opinion on the war, and our current President, but this article makes sense! Read it and give it some thought. What a difference 60 years makes!!! rvk 'You Ain't Gonna Like Losing' President Bush did make a bad mistake in the war on terrorism. But the mistake was not his decision to go to war in Iraq. Bush's mistake came in his belief that this country is the same one his father fought for in WWII. It is not!!! Back then they had just come out of a vicious depression. The country was steeled by the hardship of that depression, but they still believed fervently in this country. They knew that the people had elected their leaders, so it was the people's duty to back those leaders. Therefore, when the war broke out the people came together, rallied behind, and stuck with their leaders, whether they had voted for them or not or whether the war was going badly or not. And war was just as distasteful..... and the anguish just as great then as it is today. Often there were more casualties in one day in WWII than we have ha d in the entire Iraq war. But that did not matter. The people stuck with the President because it was their patriotic duty. Americans put aside their differences in WWII and worked together to win that war. Everyone from every strata of society, from young to old pitched in. Small children pulled little wagons around to gather scrap metal for the war effort. Grade school students saved their pennies to buy stamps for war bonds to help the effort. Men who were too old or medically 4F lied about their age or condition trying their best to join the military. Women doubled their work to keep things going at home. Harsh rationing of everything from gasoline, to soap, to butter, was imposed, yet there was very little complaining. You never heard prominent people on the radio belittling the President. Interestingly enough in those days there were no fat cat actors and entertainers who ran off to visit and fawn over dictators of hostile countries and complain to them about our President. Instead, they made upbeat films and entertained our troops to help the troops' morale. And a bunch even enlisted. And imagine this: Teachers in schools actually started the day off with a Pledge of Allegiance, and with prayers for our country and our troops!!! Back then, no newspaper would have dared to point out certain weak spots in our cities where bombs could be set off to cause the maximum damage. No newspaper would have dared complain about what we were doing to catch spies. A newspaper would have been laughed out of existence if it had complained that German or Japanese soldiers were being 'tortured' by being forced to wear women's underwear, or subjected to interrogation by a woman, or being scared by a dog. There were a lot of things different back then. We were not subjected to a constant bombardment of pornography, perversion and promiscuity in movies or on radio. We did not have legions of crack heads, dope pushers and armed gangs roaming our streets. No, President Bush did not make a mistake in his handling of terrorism. He made the mistake of believing that we still had the courage and fortitude of our fathers. He believed that this was still the country that our fathers fought so dearly to preserve!! It is not the same country. It is now a cross between Sodom and Gomorrah and the land of Oz. We did unite for a short while after 9/11, but our attitude changed when we found out that defending our country would require some sacrifices. We are in great danger!! The terrorists are fanatic Muslims. The y believe that it is okay, even their duty, to kill anyone who will not convert to Islam. It has been estimated that about one third, or over three hundred million Muslims, are sympathetic to the terrorists cause ... Hitler and Tojo combined did not have nearly that many potential recruits. So...we either win it - or lose it - and you ain't gonna like losing!!! Today, for many folks, America is not at war...the military is at war...................... America is at the mall!!!!!!!!! Coz it sure seems that way News Sport Comment Culture Business Money Life & style Travel Environment Blogs Video Jobs A-Z Comment is free Facing Islamist chaos and America's Rambo, Pakistan is turning to No 10Asif Ali Zardari will discuss his radical new vision in Downing Street today, knowing Washington can derail everything All comments (25) Adrian Levy and Cathy Scott-Clark The Guardian, Tuesday September 16 2008 Article history After claiming to have spent nine years nurturing democracy in Pakistan and festooning the country's military dictatorship with $11bn in aid, the Bush administration's policy is careering out of control, as US soldiers trade bullets with the forces of what was once a most-favoured ally in the "war on terror". On Sunday night, Pakistan border troops fired on a raiding party of American commandos emerging from two Chinooks in an attempt to cross on foot from Afghanistan into the Pakistan village of Angoor Adda. They had no permission to be there. This was the latest in a series of forays into Pakistan sovereign territory taken by US special forces at the behest of President Bush. In July he signed an executive order to sidestep Pakistan's freely elected government in the rush to claim al-Qaida scalps - especially Osama bin Laden's. In the past six weeks, US missiles have rained down on Pakistani villages, with Predator drones lighting up the country's tribal belt and hunter-killer teams dropping into Pakistan's villages in the dead of night. All good timing for the Republicans: these red-blooded offensives play well in America's heartlands; the ailing Bush and his party have been re-branded, Rambo-style, as sidestepping an untrustworthy ally to take the fight directly to the terrorists. However, it is spectacularly bad timing for Pakistan, the raids commencing just three days before Asif Ali Zardari was sworn in as president. During his inaugural speech in Islamabad on September 6, more than 30 civilians were killed by a suicide bombing in Peshawar as the local population vented its anger at the incursions. Zardari has used a family trip to Britain to gain an urgent sit-down with Gordon Brown. Yesterday he flew in to see off his oldest daughter, Bakhtawar, 18, who is studying English literature at Edinburgh University. Today in Downing Street, Zardari will warn the prime minister that the latest twist in the war on terror will "only lead to greater disaster, more hatred, more alienation, more ghettos, more recruits, and more violence". Without Britain's help in holding back the US, buying the new Pakistan government breathing space, anti-American sentiment will wash over the country; Zardari and his Pakistan People's party coalition will be unable to stop it spiralling out of control. If it sounds like blackmail, with Zardari bargaining by placing a gun to his own head - an age-old diplomatic tactic of Pakistan leaders - consider the evidence. Pakistan is in the grip of Islamist-driven chaos with the white pennants of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), the country's home-grown medievalists, flying from government offices across North and South Waziristan. North-West Frontier Province, its once cosmopolitan capital of Peshawar and its former ski resorts in the Swat valley, have been encircled by the movement's Vice and Virtue Brigades. The strategically vital province of Baluchistan is simmering; and the economic engine of Karachi is witnessing an explosion of violence. Zardari does not convince everyone, given the welter of corruption charges that once circled him, but he is not the only one worried. The fears of the normally silent Pakistan armed forces were reflected this weekend in an extraordinary article by Lieutenant General Shahid Aziz, who served as the chief of general staff under Zardari's predecessor, Pervez Musharraf. Gen Aziz accused Musharraf of inviting the Americans to fight their war on Pakistani territory, without consulting the army: "Militants will multiply by the thousands," he warned. "The Pakistani army will not be able to support US operations. Financial crisis and street unrest will create chaos in the country and war will spread." Today Gordon Brown will be asked to put his faith in Zardari, an acquisitive man once reviled in this country and his own as "Mr 10%". Days after the assassination of his wife, Benazir Bhutto, Zardari produced a handwritten will; and now he has resurrected a series of radical measures drafted by Benazir shortly before her death. The documents make for compelling reading: "The enemy the west has identified [a handful of al-Qaida and Taliban leaders] is the wrong target. The concern of the developed world is motivated entirely by a single consideration - its own safety. You cannot wage wars against ideas. Fight them with different means." One of these - already shown to the foreign secretary, David Miliband - is the formation of an intergovernmental counter-terrorist body. The stories are shocking in their simplicity and brutality: A female military recruit is pinned down at knifepoint and raped repeatedly in her own barracks. Her attackers hid their faces but she identified them by their uniforms; they were her fellow soldiers. During a routine gynecological exam, a female soldier is attacked and raped by her military physician. Yet another young soldier, still adapting to life in a war zone, is raped by her commanding officer. Afraid for her standing in her unit, she feels she has nowhere to turn. Do you think the authors of these stories are the same authors of 1 in 3 women will be raped (err we meant to say 1 in 4 err aright we made it all up, just leave us alone) ? When did femmies learn to read minds ? That would be the only explanation how they learned about rape cases, the victims were too ashamed/frightend to report or even tell anyone. But now on to the question, "articles" like those are frequent, why do feminists want to give women the idea that the armed forces is a huge rape factory ? Is it just another way to express their hate and disdain they harbour for the armed forces just like they did again and again in the past ? Note iam not saying all women lie about rape, but certainly all feminists did in the past and are likely to continue doing so.remember Kobe, remember the duke team.Ms sexually deprived, so you are saying this is the one time the femmies are NOT lying about rape ? I admire your optimism. No no sexually deprived, it is the feminists, it is the feminists serving us the lines we are so used to be served by them, just trust me on this it is the femmies.A pregnant christian, the feminists do not want women in the military, the feminists have expressed nothing but hate and disdaign for the military.Jabber if you want to keep believing the femmies after they have lied so much, go right ahead.Right sexually deprived and you keep crossing the equator and leave matters outside of a ship to people who are grown ups.I am ASHAMED for everyone who is not abhorred at the idea of those dreadfull femmies using something so serious like rape to keep themselfs entertained. About 4 years ago the military was very strict on recruiting men and women with tattoos in areas easily seen like arms, legs, ect. I know 3 people who's 18 yr old kids (1 girl, 2 boys) were turned away from being recruited (1 Air Force, 1 Army, 1 Marine) because of tattoos (and they didn't even have excessive, like 1 or 2 tattoos). They were told that they had tattoos that could be seen and it was against the recruiting policy to take them. Now that America is sooooo short of military men and women, has the military lightened up on this issue because of desperation to get people to join? I am just curious. The recruiters told them it was a different story if they got the tattoos after they were in the military, but that the military didn't encourage that either because it was technically "defacing government property", which sounds ridiculous to me anyway.Just another quick question.... If we are NOT short of people joining, then why are they constantly activating the reserves and sending soldiers for 2, 3, 4 tours in war zones? Common sense says that if we had an abundance of people joining the military, we wouldn't be sending the same soldiers over and over and over again until they die! I support every man and woman in the military and that's why it bothers me that they live through one tour to have to go back again and again! Midland Muslims supporting Al-Qaida attacks on troops Aug 2 2008 MIDLAND Muslims are actively supporting the Taliban and Al-Qaida in attacks on British troops, the former commander of UK forces in Afghanistan has revealed. Brigadier Ed Butler claims coalition forces have also uncovered evidence that militant Islamic groups in Helmand Province are suspected of assisting terrorist plots in Britain. Suspicions were raised earlier this year that the Taliban were recruiting increasing numbers of UK [fb01]ghters after RAF experts overheard secret transmissions - spoken in broad Midlands and Yorkshire accents. Now Brigadier Butler, 46, who led British troops in Helmand Province for six months, claims a growing number of British-born Muslims are helping the Taliban. He said: "There are British passport holders who live in the UK who are being found in places like Kandahar. "There is a link between Kandahar and urban conurbations in the UK. "This is something the military understands, but the British public does not." In February Parviz Khan, from Alum Rock, Birmingham, was jailed for life after plotting to kidnap a serving Muslim soldier on a night out on Broad Street. But Khan, 37, and his gang were grabbed in a swoop by armed anti-terror cops after his home was bugged. He swiftly admitted the kidnap plot and confessed to shipping £8,000 of warfare gear including laser sights, computer hardware and clothing to terrorists killing our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Another £12,000 in cash was sent to his Al-Qaida boss. Khan's "right hand man" Zahoor Iqbal - a Birmingham council truant officer - was jailed for seven years. A jury convicted him of helping supply the terror equipment. Two others pleaded guilty to a similar charge. Mohammed Irfan, 31, got four years and Hamid Elasmar, 44, three years and four months. Britain's top soldier - General Sir Richard Dannatt - slammed the plot as "cowardly and grotesque" as he heaped praise on Britain's Muslim troops. British troops have been warned to expect to be toiling through the desert plains and mountain passes of Afghanistan for years to come because of the resurgent Taliban. http://www.sundaymercury.net/news/midlands-news/2008/08/02/midland-muslims-supporting-al-qaida-attacks-on-troops-66331-21460343/ moreResolved Question: For College Applications Is Military Service Considered As Admirable ??
I'm an American, born & educated in Singapore. After pre-university education here one has to do 22 mos. of National Service (NS). For a U.S. citizen, it's optional. I opted for it, was #1/800 recruits in my Basic Training, now I'm in Officer School, 'OCS,' ranked at the top of my Officer Cadet cohort. I'll finish OCS in Mar 2009, be commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), finish NS in Feb 2010, then matriculate to a University in the U.S. in the Fall 2010. I'll do the admissions applications in the Fall 2008. At age 19, I'll be an Officer in the SAF. In the US, one has to be a college graduate to be an officer in the armed forces. In Feb 2010, I'll finish my NS as a first Lieutenant in the SAF. My SAT Is are 2200. How will the University Admission Committees regard NS/OCS ?? Also, in ranking my ECA on the applications, is NS/OCS #1 or the other stuff that I've done ?? Thanks. moreResolved Question: Members of the British Armed Forces.........can you give me your opinion?
I'll cut to the chase.12 years ago i joined the army. However not long after joining, i got into a fight with another recruit. I was sentenced to 28 days at the M.C.T.C. On my release i was discharged unsuitable for army service.I have recently applied to join the navy.I have not mentioned this on my application as i didn't want to risk it affecting my chances. Given that it was 12 years ago and that i was a new recruit who didn't even pass out of training,is there any way i'll be found out.Do they hold onto everyone's files? The charge was for assault, but keep in mind i was only in training....i never served in a battalion moreResolved Question: Is the US military a cult?
A friend sent me this and got me thinking. What are your thoughts!? BEWARE OF WEIRD CULT WHICH: Uses promises of money, a job or other favors to recruit people. Indoctrinates beginners in an armed camp until they're thoroughly brainwashed. Employs terror, assassination, murder or threats thereof. Is particularly interested in the young and those who follow orders without question. Holds against their will members who want to leave. Goes by many names, eg: The Service, military, Armed Forces, ROTC, JROTC, recruiters, Defense, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, Green Beret. moreResolved Question: Is it Bush's Fault?
President Bush did make a bad mistake in the war on terrorism. But the mistake was not his decision to go to war in Iraq . Bush's mistake came in his belief that this country is the same one his father fought for in WWII. It is not. Back then, they had just come out of a vicious depression. And war was just as distasteful and the anguish just as great then as it is today. Often there were more casualties in one day in WWII than we have had in the entire Iraq war. But that did not matter. The people stuck with the President because it was their patriotic duty Americans put aside their differences in WWII and worked together to win that war. Harsh rationing of everything from gasoline to soap, to butter was imposed, yet there was very little complaining. And imagine this: Teachers in schools actually started the day off with a Pledge of Allegiance, and with prayers for our country and our troops! Back then, no newspaper would have dared point out certain weak spots in our cities where bombs could be set off to cause the maximum damage. No newspaper would have dared complain about what we were doing to catch spies. A newspaper would have been laughed out of existence if it had complained that German or Japanese soldiers were being 'tortured' by being forced to wear women's underwear, or subjected to interrogation by a woman, or being scared by a dog or did not have air conditioning. There were a lot of things different back then. We were not subjected to a constant bombardment of pornography, perversion and promiscuity in movies or on radio. We did not have legions of crackheads, dope pushers and armed gangs roaming our streets. No, President Bush did not make a mistake in his handling of terrorism. He made the mistake of believing that we still had the courage and fortitude of our fathers. He believed that this was still the country that our fathers fought so dearly to preserve. It is not the same country. It is now a cross between Sodom and Gomorra and the land of Oz. We did unite for a short while after 9/11, but our attitude changed when we found out that defending our country would require some sacrifices. We are in great danger. The terrorists are fanatic Muslims. They believe that it is okay, even their duty to kill anyone who will not convert to Islam. It has been estimated that about one third or over three hundred million Muslims are sympathetic to the terrorists cause...Hitler and Tojo combined did not have nearly that many potential recruits. So...we either win it - or lose it - and you ain't gonna like losing. America is not at war. The military is at war. America is at the mall. moreResolved Question: Immigration for military service?
I was looking at the E4 section in here: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_1323.html And it says: "13) Alien Recruited Outside of the United States Who Has Served or is Enlisted to Serve in the U.S. Armed Forces;" Does this mean that I can enlist for the U.S. Armed Forces outside of the United States, and thereby obtain permanent residence status? moreResolved Question: The Queens Own LGBT Regiment???
I see the army has finally decided to recruit members of the LGBT community in pursuit of some strange notion of equality: http://uk.news.yahoo.com/pressass/20080714/tuk-army-to-promote-equality-for-gays-6323e80.html This hot on the trail of an article I read recently about demoralisation among members of the armed forces running at an all-time high and in the face of on-going cutbacks with regard to military expenditure. So a general question to members of the LGBT community: would you enlist with the armed forces given that you could find yourself in the middle of a firefight in some backwater banana republic before you've even been trained how to saddle your horse properly to meet armoured tank divisions with lances (both of which you may well have to purchase for yourself)? That's what I thought EJ - For donkeys years the LGBT crew have never been good enough but now that bullets are getting a bit scarce and Brown has run out of pensions funds to plunder it might be necessary to subjugate the hun with pointy sticks. So now it's a call-to-arms for the LGBT community. Pretty suspicious, eh?Couldn't agree more, Nil. It smacks of the same lunacy demonstrated by the Met when they adopted a policy of recruitment to meet racial quotas instead of recruiting purely on the basis of personal merit. moreResolved Question: Which Armed Forces Branch gets the worst recruits?
I think the Marines do. They seem so bottom of the barrel. I think the Marines have worse standards than the Army. Correct me if I'm wrong. moreResolved Question: Do you think McCain would support a military draft?
We have enemies on a lot of fronts right now, and McCain is talking about an indefinite military presence in Iraq. At the same time, it seems as though the military is having a tough time recruiting. It seems to be the logical next step that we will have to force people to serve in the armed forces. What are your thoughts on that? I'm particularly interest in hearing from young men who might be subject to the draft, no matter which candidate they support.OK, Greg: I admire people who enlist, I really really do. But...do you really think "liberals" are angered that people want to do it? Heck, I'll give them a ride to the airport! If anybody wants to join the army to protect me and mine, I'll thank them....and I'd like to personally thank you for your service. But that doesn't answer the question about the draft. I believe you when you write that experts consider a draft to be the worst case scenario...but the point I'm making is that if the ranks get stretched a little thin, we will either have to bring in more troops, or we will have to prioritize where we put them. We'll see if and when McCain takes office. I'll take him at his word that he doesn't want a draft, but at the end of the day you can't make something from nothing, so there may likely come a time when a choice will have to be made. I strongly believe that if he had to make the choice between prioritizing troop placement and the draft, he would choose the draft every day of the week and twice on Sunday. I don't think that's "unpatriotic" to say, I think it's just realistic. Remember too that he isn't going to win too many votes by suggesting that the potential voters may get shipped of to Iraq with a rifle. moreResolved Question: Does this man have a point?
Some one got this from a gentleman in his 80's (and a DEMOCRAT!) who actually lived thru those (and these) times. Agree or not, makes you stop and think. Everyone has a different opinion on the war and our current President. But this article probably makes sense to those who remember. Read it and give it some thought. What a difference 60+ years makes..!!! 'You Ain't Gonna Like Losing.' Author unknown President Bush did make a bad mistake in the war on terrorism. i went to meps and saw some people couldnt pass tests at all. if they did pass, i wouldnt want to serve with these people that barely made it. What happened to quality? i guess they were desperate for their quotaI even met this one girl that didnt want to be deployed because she didnt trust the people around her. well i guess thats different its just a scary thought. moreResolved Question: Should Mattis Chiroux face the death penalty for desertion in a time of war?
Mattis Chiroux is a member of the United Sates Army who refused to deploy to Iraq. At the time he was ordered to deploy, he was a member of the IRR (Individual Ready Reserve). He has since missed movement, which means he did not deploy with his unit to Iraq as ordered. When he is tried, he will face the death penalty. His father defends his son's actions by saying it is a" back door draft." However, everyone who serves in the Armed Forces knows that when you enlist, you owe the Department of Defense eight years. Although your active enlistement may be two to four years, the remaining time is spent in the IRR. The IRR is a pool of already trained soldiers that can be called to duty instead of drafting and training unproven recruits. Soldiers in the IRR need little , if any, refresher training, and can be sent where needed ASAP. In my opinion, Chiroux is a traitor and should be punished in accordance to UCMJ. moreResolved Question: is Armed Forces Bank a good bank to consider or should i go with usaa bank, if not what is a good bank 4 Army?

Do the different branches of the armed forces post a list of new recruits or something? moreResolved Question: So. Why has government not made an effort to fund more psychiatrists for returning vets????
Private psychiatrists offer free service to troops By PAULINE JELINEK, Associated Press Writer WASHINGTON - Thousands of private counselors are offering free services to troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with mental health problems, jumping in to help because the military is short on therapists. On this Memorial Day, America's armed forces and its veterans are coping with depression, suicide, family, marital and job problems on a scale not seen since Vietnam. The government has been in beg-borrow-and-steal mode, trying to hire psychiatrists and other professionals, recruit them with incentives or borrow them from other agencies. Does bush administration really care about our servicemen and women? Is this all a big friggen joke..that we CARE so much? Hundreds of billions for the Iraq dabaucle, the Afghanistan diversion, the Halliburton bigtime theivery...and not even mere millions for those who protect .. not us... but the interests of big government. How pathetic. moreTop Armed Forces Recruiting Links
